Chapel

St. Florian Chapel at the Zischghof

The chapel is part of the Zischghof and was built in 1895 by the great-grandfather of today's owner

Alois Pichler. The chapel is sanctified for the holy "Florian" and is situated next to the old farmhouse

which has the traditonal architecture of the South Tyrolean valley Eggental.

The chapels spire is covered with shingles and is the most popular sight in Obereggen.

Its view towards the Latemar Mountain offers a fantastic panorama and many visitors take the

opportunity to be photographed here. Moreover, hikers use the possibilty to rest and relax in a

peaceful atmosphere, whereas young couples often take the opportunity to get married in a

romantic mountain chapel.
