The new Zischghof from 1.12.2011
Today’s Hotel Zischghof will still remain as it is until the end of the winter season 2010/2011. After the winter season ends at the end of April 2011, the hotel will be completely re-structured throughout the whole of the summer of 2011.- The hotel opens on 1.12.2011 with a completely new visual impact.

The philosophy of the new Zischghof
The meaning of human existence is that we should experience life consciously with all available senses. Guests in the “Kräuterhotel Zischghof” should be free to experience their 5 senses consciously again. In these fast-moving times, in the stressful world of work, in our private lives and leisure-time that have often been lost, we very often forget to look after ourselves. The new “Kräuterhotel Zischghof” would like to be a place of retreat. Time should stand still for a week. Peace and quiet, relaxation, scope for freedom and development, hobbies, your family, marriage take centre stage and you are free to become yourself again.

Happiness lies in the tranquillity seen, smelt and felt amongst luscious meadows and green woodland.The Zischghof hotel has been managed by the Pichler Family for more than 200 years. The description of entailed estate is based on a time-honoured tradition. In 1972, a humble bed and breakfast establishment originated from the former sparse life of farming, supplemented by some trading in cattle and forest cultivation. It has now become today’s hotel.
Its philosophy is simple and at the same to the point: Finding everything that does you good.
The small church, “Zischgnkirchlein”, built in 1895 is also part of the Zischghof in Obereggen. In the meantime this picturesque chapel has become one of the most popular subjects for photos in Obereggen.
